Stuffed Animal Photos of Plush Toy Golden Retriever Puppy Chris at North Lake
When I first saw this puppy, I was doing my first year of undergrad at UCLA. On the way home from school, I happened to stop into Bullocks on afternoon and there I saw the cutest golden-retriever-puppy-stuffed-animal that I had ever seen. Unable to contain my excitement, I rushed home to tell my roomate Laura about it. I didn't tell her what it was, but just said: "I have to show you something". When we got to Bullocks, I showed her Chris. Every day after school, I asked Laura if we could stop by to visit Chris at the department store . . . she humored me and we did.
Finally, on Christmas day, Laura brought Chris home, and that's how he got his name. Chris is short for Christmas, which I named him since I got him as a Christmas present from my wildly insightful roomate Laura. Since that fateful day, Chris has faithfully served as a pillow and travel companion and has only recently started posing for photo shoots in the last few months as part of the Photogenic Toy Photography Project.
